Privacy policy.

The data we collect, why we collect it, who sees it, and how long we keep it — written in plain English, without the 4 000-word wall of legalese that nobody actually reads.

Last updated Apr 10, 2026 ~3 min read Applies to: all TestingForge users

What we collect

  • Account data — name, email, organization, role. The minimum needed to give you a working login.
  • Service data — repository metadata, execution logs, test results and the other operational data produced when you run tests.
  • Technical data — IP address, browser, device info and basic usage analytics, so we can keep the app fast and secure.

How we use data

  • To provide, operate and secure the TestingForge platform.
  • To run test automation, generate results and help you troubleshoot failures.
  • To process billing and prevent abuse or fraud on the platform.
  • To improve product performance, stability and reliability over time.

Data sharing

We do not sell personal data. We share data with a small set of trusted service providers — infrastructure, analytics, email and payment processors — only when it is needed to operate the service, and always under contractual data-protection terms.

Data retention

Account and billing data are retained for as long as the law requires us to keep them. Operational data (logs, test results) is kept only as long as it is useful for running the service and supporting customers — and can be deleted on verified request where applicable.

Security

We apply standard technical and organisational measures — encryption in transit, access controls, audit logging, least-privilege defaults — to protect your data. No online system is 100% secure, but we treat every incident seriously and will notify affected customers as required by law.

Contact
